special occasion or get together calls for a special setting. Strange Brews located
in the heart of Delmar Delaware, is an extraordinary place to have your next social event,
a setting worthy of the event you plan to have. Strange Brews old time atmosphere and
antique-country setting was designed to make you feel as though you have taken a step back
into time. Strange Brews is the perfect setting for your perfect day.
Small parties and gatherings are our specialty. Strange Brews can provide you with
hours of music for your parties when held at our Coffee shop. We can supplied music for
any of your activities. Microphone, stereo system, podium and karaoke machine is
available. We personally meet with you to assist you in the coordination of the upcoming
get together and help you pick out your music selections. (Party Planning checklist) Our
veteran and dedicated staff can create an extraordinary experience for your guests that
will be memorable for years after, beautiful surrounding settings, catered service for
exceptional food and the splendor of a wide variety of the finest coffees brought in from
around the world. From the most intimate of gatherings to the grandest events, Strange
Brews is the perfect place.
Come see this unique and magnificent facility for yourself. Our coffee shop has the
capacity to seat up to 40 of your guests. Party food includes appetizers like bruschetta
or maybe even a cheese platters with crackers, plus pastries of your choosing. We welcome
your visit today. Your happiness is our top priority.
Upon acceptance of the terms your party will be setup at least 60 minutes
prior to the arrival of your guests. Strange Brews employees will be set up,
appropriately attired and ready to serve your guests when they arrive.
Your party time begins when your quests begin to arrive to the coffee
shop. Many evenings are booked from the hours of 6 PM - 9 PM, so we suggest booking
your party as soon as you have set your date. All reservations can be completed over
the phone. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance if desired. Book now if you're
thinking about hosting a holiday gathering in our coffee shop. Please try to schedule your
party at least a week ahead, preferably much earlier to insure the date and time you
desire. If we are given a 1 month notice that you are canceling our services, your deposit
will be reimbursed to you in full. If we are not given a 1 month notice or if you
cancel your event due to weather, the deposit will be non-refundable.
Strange Brews charges $25.00 for 2 hours use of our space. If your party
goes over the 2 hours there will be an additional $12.50 per hour added to your bill.
Deposits generally run from $25.00 to $100.00 or half of the cost, depending upon
the event and are expected at the time of your party booking plus a non refundable
cleaning charge of $25.00, unless prior arrangement has been made. We currently accept
cash or checks. Checks should be made payable to: DELMARVA INVESTMENTS LLC. There
will be a $20 Service Charge for all returned checks.
Any gratuity or tip you wish to pay your servers for an outstanding
service is certainly appreciated. The general rule is 5-10% based on his/her performance.
Due to accounting purposes, please pay any tip directly to your the server.
